Margot ate breakfast with dad, then she shared ponies with all the girls and played at the sharing house with Feronia. During circle time, we sing songs and talked about our feelings. we used light boards to look at x-rays of various sea animals, (seal, sea lion, turtle, etc.). we also listened to various sea animal sounds. We had a snack and the younger kids practiced going potty while the older kids used rulers to practice measuring squares and rectangles. Outside Margot wore sunglasses with Feronia and asked Fei to give her some ivy for a tail. The two girls sat under the big slide and rested with the inflatable toys as their pillows.
She slept about an hour. During circle time we snacked and talked about the importance of persisting in the face of adversity. We reminded everyone that making mistakes and being frustrated happens to everyone and it’s how we learn! The older kids did addition worksheets while the young’uns played with the magnetic people.
