Margot shared the figurines in the toy house with Jane, then shared the trains with everybody on the mat. During circle time we sang children’s songs in English and in French. We talked about different cultures and clothes, using figurines as examples. Everybody took turns touching the figurines. We read The Gruffalo, then we reviewed the rules of the room and the rules of the backyard.
Margot slept about two hours. During circle time we snacked and read The Gruffalo‘s Child. The older kids used wood tiles to work on math while the younger kids played with dinosaurs.
