August ate breakfast with his dad and the kids. He sang songs with the kids and talked about his coin collection. During circle time we sang children’s songs in English and in French. We talked about different cultures and clothes, using figurines as examples. Everybody took turns touching the figurines. We read The Gruffalo, then we reviewed the rules of the room and the rules of the backyard.
August slept for about an hour. During circle time we snacked and read The Gruffalo‘s Child. The older kids used wood tiles to work on math while the younger kids played with dinosaurs. During outside time he shared the tunnel with Feronia. They hid in the tunnel as a caterpillar and then carried the tunnel around.
